What is the return policy for Buzz? Do you have a trial period?

We have a 30-day risk-free return policy for Buzz. This includes one-time purchase Buzz devices and and Buzz subscriptions. If you want to return your Buzz, simply let us know at support@neosensory.com within the first 30 days, and we’ll share return instructions with you. We’ll refund your purchase, less shipping fees.

Is there an app that controls the device? Do I need to use it?

Buzz does not require use of an app. 

Neosensory does offer a companion app for Buzz. It will be available for both iOS and Android. If you choose to connect your Buzz to the app, you can unlock additional functionality such as music mode, night mode, frequency range, and vibration intensity controls.

Is my Buzz waterproof?

Buzz is water-resistant but not waterproof. You can wear Buzz in light rain, but do not submerge Buzz in water or wear it in the shower.

How long does the Buzz battery last on one charge?

Depending on the microphone sensitivity and how noisy the environment is, Buzz can last over 24 hours on one full charge.

How does my brain adjust to the vibrations? Is there anything I can do to speed up the process?

Your brain will start matching sounds to the patterns of the vibrations over time. The more you wear your Buzz, the quicker your brain will learn these patterns. Some things you can try to help your brain connect vibrations to sounds are to test sounds in different environments. Try clapping, knocking, ringing the doorbell, or pushing the test button on your fire alarm. You can also practice with the training games in the Neosensory app (available for iOS and Android).
